About The Role

This position is responsible for carrying out installations, commissioning, maintenance and ongoing service and support to customers, in a timely manner, whilst always promoting TNA’s professional image.

Additionally, the role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and prospective clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to targets across North America and Canada. MUST reside in the Eastern USA.


Key responsibilities

  • Always promotes and presents a high level and professional image of TNA.
  • Ensure sound knowledge of TNA’s products and services is developed and maintained to ensure accurate communication to customers.
  • Collate weekly timesheet and present results to the Technical Services Manager
  • Provide first, second and third level support, in relation to breakdowns and/or customer queries, responding by either telephone or site visits, promptly!
  • Responsible for providing routine maintenance and planned services of equipment in accordance with schedules.
  • Provide input and feedback to the R&D Team in Sydney, relating to product modifications / faults and developments.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with all customers and provide feedback to the Sales Team regarding prospective capital investment obtained through such relationships.
  • Attend and work at trade shows / exhibitions held throughout the year (including some weekends)
  • Work with Project Engineers in the lead up to installation, ensuring correct layouts and documentations have been received.


Qualification and Experience

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills – able to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Able to make decisions in line with organisational philosophies and practices.
  • Collaborates, seeks, and listens to feedback across all areas of the business.
  • Outstanding service provider with a strong customer focus
  • Good fault-finding skills.
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Able to develop and execute sales strategies to enable targets to be met.
  • Good computer skills, knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint (DOS & Windows)
  • Current Driver’s license
  • MUST reside in Eastern USA
  • Valid Passport and prepared to travel at short notice, locally and overseas.


Desired Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ service experience, including repair and testing of electronic and mechanical equipment
  • experience in a field engineering role, dealing with mechanical and/or electrical and software issues.
  • Completion of a trade and/or undergraduate degree would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to the food and packaging industry is desirable but not mandatory.
