Accounting Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Accounting Manager to support the continued growth of the organization by leading the accounting close process and driving operational improvements across accounting functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring strong technical accounting expertise, and contribute to process optimization initiatives.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

• 5 years of accounting experience within a Big 4 accounting firm and/or publicly traded company environment (Technology industry experience preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, manage multiple deadlines, and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred
• CPA certification required (strongly preferred by hiring leadership)
• Experience with Blackline is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Supervise daily accounting operations while ensuring compliance with established internal controls and accounting policies
• Review and oversee critical account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet rollforwards
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and company accounting standards
• Maintain strong accounting controls and perform analytical reviews of monthly financial results, including variance analysis and detailed account reviews
• Ensure all account reconciliations are completed accurately, reviewed appropriately, and delivered within deadlines
• Develop and maintain procedures for reviewing significant account fluctuations and resolving discrepancies
• Support internal and external audit activities and coordinate audit requests with external auditors
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and efficiencies to improve close timelines while maintaining accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues, improve workflows, and support business initiatives

Must-Have Skills:

• 5 years of accounting experience at a Big 4 firm and/or public company
• Proven team leadership experience managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
• Advanced Excel and manual calculation skills with the ability to validate calculations independently without over-reliance on automated tools
