Position Overview
The Training & Depot Dispatcher supports both driver training coordination and daily depot dispatch operations for FIFA World Cup 2026™ transportation services in Kansas City.
This role assists with scheduling driver training sessions, coordinating training vehicles and instructors, and ensuring driver readiness prior to tournament operations. Additionally, the position supports depot dispatch functions by coordinating vehicle deployments, managing driver assignments, and maintaining communication between depot teams, drivers, and the Transport Operations Centre (TOC) .
Working closely with the Depot Manager, Training Manager, and operational teams , this role helps ensure vehicles, drivers, and transport systems are fully prepared and deployed efficiently to support the KC26 transport network.

Key Responsibilities
Training Operations Coordination
- Assist in organizing driver training schedules and operational readiness programs.
- Coordinate training vehicles, instructors, and driver participation in scheduled training sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training attendance, certifications, and operational readiness records.
- Support the dispatch of buses and motorcoaches from the depot according to operational schedules.
- Assist with assigning drivers to vehicles and routes based on operational requirements.
- Maintain communication with drivers, instructors, depot staff, and the Transport Operations Centre (TOC).
- Track vehicle departures, arrivals, and assignments during depot operations.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch operations, driver rosters, vehicle assignments, and operational updates.
- Report operational conflicts such as vehicle availability issues, driver absences, or scheduling conflicts to supervisors.
Skills & Knowledge
- Understanding of transport dispatch operations and driver scheduling procedures .
- Strong communication skills when coordinating with drivers, instructors, and operational teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) .
- Ability to organize schedules and maintain operational records.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in busy environments.
- Familiarity with Kansas City transport routes and venue locations is considered an advantage.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in transport dispatching, logistics coordination, training support, or fleet operations.
- Experience supporting large-scale transport operations or major events is preferred.
- Fluency in English required; multilingual or bilingual ability is considered an advantage.
- Combination of office-based coordination and depot-based operational work .
- Fast-paced environment supporting training programs and transport dispatch operations.
- May require extended hours during training periods, test events, and tournament operations .
