What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAAS Sales Representative position at TMS Inc?
SaaS Sales Representative — TMS Remote (United States) | Full-Time
About TMS
TMS builds software exclusively for the Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy industry — Business Intelligence and Data Discovery solutions alongside custom application development. We don't adapt generic tools for healthcare; we build for LTC pharmacy specifically, and it shows in everything we ship.
We'd rather you spend ten minutes on our website before you apply than have us summarize it for you here: tmsbi.com. Come to the conversation with a point of view on what we do and who we serve.
The Role
We're hiring a SaaS Sales Representative to drive new business across the Long-Term Care pharmacy market, selling both our Business Intelligence products and our Custom Application development services. You'll own the full sales cycle — prospecting, discovery, demo, and close — working with LTC pharmacy owners and operators who need more than what off-the-shelf software gives them.
This is a 100% remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States. This role is not open to candidates residing or working outside the U.S.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close across our Business Intelligence and Custom Application offerings
- Build and manage a pipeline of LTC pharmacy owners, operators, and decision-makers
- Run live product demos tailored to each pharmacy's specific workflows and pain points
- Diagnose whether a prospect's problem calls for an existing product or a custom-built solution, and sell accordingly
- Translate operational pain points (manual reporting, siloed data, compliance tracking, one-off workflow gaps) into clear ROI conversations
- Partner with our onboarding team to ensure smooth handoff after close
- Represent TMS at relevant industry conferences and events as needed
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM
What You Bring
- 2–10 years of B2B sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Experience selling into healthcare — Long-Term Care pharmacy experience strongly preferred; candidates with QS1/RedSail, FrameworkLTC, or LTC pharmacy operations background are especially encouraged to apply
- Comfort selling a technical, consultative product — both packaged software and custom-scoped solutions — to non-technical buyers
- Strong discovery skills — the ability to uncover what a pharmacy actually needs, not just what they ask for
- Self-starter mentality; comfortable owning a territory with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable home office setup and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Compensation
- Base salary uncapped commission
- On-target earnings (OTE): $130,000–$150,000, commission-weighted structure
- Compensation is heavily geared toward commission, rewarding closers who can build and convert their own pipeline
Why TMS
- Sell into a niche with genuine differentiation and no real head-to-head competitor
- Two ways to solve a customer's problem — an existing product or a custom build — instead of forcing every prospect into the same box
- Work directly with the CEO and founding team, not a layer of middle management
- Fully remote, flexible environment
- Ground-floor opportunity to shape the sales function as we scale
