Responsibilities:
- Triaging patients
- Obtain vitals
- Assisting physician and/or mid level with procedures
- Administering injections
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources
- Provide physician and/or mid level medical support with procedures
- Obtain key demographic and health related information and registering this information accurately and efficiently into the EHR
- Answering patient messages
- Reporting labs
- Perform other duties related to practice operations
Requirements:
- Must be Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (will be required to present current certification)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of EMR system
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
