The United States Patent and Trademark Office is seeking talented professionals to serve as a Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist to assist with the management of a staff responsible for the examination and processing of Trademark registrations and intent-to-use applications.
Responsibilities:
The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person.
Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year.
Major Duties for this position include:
- Manages the day-to-day call center activities to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and team performance.
- Serves as a key advisor to the Program manager in identifying recommendations to improve technology systems and functions to secure necessary tools and resources for the program unit.
- Provides technical and administrative supervision to the staff of the section; oversees the daily operation of the staff, ensuring the agency policy and priorities are being followed.
- Directs the work in progress by balancing the workload throughout the staff, considering the amount of work to be done and capabilities of member on the staff. Points out to each staff member sources of information, guidance or points to notice.
Salary : $121,785
