Maintenance Supervisor

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Working knowledge of industrial equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and preventive maintenance systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Leadership and team development skills
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA)
• Proficient with maintenance software/CMMS systems preferred
• Reliable with a strong work ethic

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team in a manufacturing facility
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facility systems
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues and provide technical guidance to technicians
• Install, align, and ensure proper commissioning of new or upgraded equipment
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff performance
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment
