What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at TMCO Inc?
We are looking for machine operators to join our team on 1st and 2nd shift. This role involves operating a variety of machines and supporting overall production.
Job Duties
- Set up and run machines such as saws, drill presses, tube rollers, and finishing equipment
- Help clean, smooth, and finish metal parts (deburring and general cleanup)
- Help with team-based jobs that require more than one person
- Load and unload materials safely
- Watch machines while they run and make small adjustments if needed
- Check finished parts to make sure they meet quality standards
- Follow all safety rules and wear required safety gear
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Help wherever needed to keep production moving
- Do other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of machines or manufacturing preferred
- Willingness to learn how to run different types of equipment
- Ability to read basic blueprints is a plus
- Ability to use simple measuring tools like a tape measure (calipers/micrometers are a plus)
- Able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Able to stand for long periods and do physical work
- Good attitude and willing to work as part of a team

5:00pm - 3:30am
