What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at TMCO Inc?
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery driving experience is preferred
- Forklift experience is required
- CDL preferred (required for some duties)
Job Duties:
- Safely drive a company truck to deliver products to customers, mostly in Lincoln and nearby areas
- Safely move large and heavy materials with a forklift
- Make sure products are loaded securely to prevent damage during delivery
- Keep accurate delivery paperwork and collect customer signatures when needed
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety rules
- Report any delivery problems or damaged items to your supervisor
- Work both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather
- Help with other shipping warehouse duties as needed
