TMC Staffing is seeking A Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to manage the efficient flow of goods, leading a team to handle daily inbound/outbound logistics, including supervising staff, overseeing receiving/shipping operations, managing inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety standards (OSHA), and coordinating with other departments for timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of materials, using tools like WMS and barcode scanners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train, schedule, motivate, and provide performance feedback to shipping/receiving staff.
- Oversee unloading, sorting, processing, and inspection of incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
- Direct the preparation, packing, labeling, and dispatch of outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to documentation
- Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct cycle counts, manage warehouse layout, and ensure proper storage to prevent damage.
- Enforce safety protocols, monitor equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and ensure adherence to OSHA standards.
- Manage shipping documents, invoices, and inventory records.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong ability to manage, train, and guide a team.
- Able to manage documentation, inventory, and processes accurately.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode scanners,
- Forklift Certified
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
