Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive service advising or service management
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a busy environment
- Experience with shop management software (Mitchell, RO Writer, Shop Monkey, etc., preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Create estimates, open/close repair orders, and ensure accurate invoicing
- Schedule work efficiently and assign jobs to technicians based on skill and availability
- Maintain a clean, professional, and friendly front office atmosphere
- Ensure repairs are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Order parts and manage inventory
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and follow-ups professionally
- Train, mentor, and support technicians and front desk staff
- Monitor daily performance metrics (productivity, car count, sales, etc.)
