We're hiring a SharePoint Developer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required 1-2 times per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level SharePoint and Power Platform development services to support the modernization, automation, and optimization of the SharePoint environment
- Lead maintenance and enhancements to the agency's intranet, including analysis, requirements, systems, and UI/UX design
- Leverage existing M365 tools such as MS Power Suite, MS Teams, and SharePoint to enhance collaboration within the agency's M365 ecosystem
- Design and implement PowerApps and Power Automate flows to automate business processes
- Develop solutions to be accessible and user-friendly on both desktop computers and mobile devices
- Develop technical documentation to enable the agency's help desk and technicians to provide ongoing support
- Work with system administrators to ensure security controls are in place, maximizing security controls using industry best practices
- Develop user documentation
- Comply with agency policies, CJIS security guidance, and state security standards
- Conduct formal and informal meetings, communicating directly with the IT team, business employees, and vendor partners
- Lead technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions on SharePoint and Power Platform customization, automation, and modernization
- Guide the team on best practices of SharePoint and Power Platform governance
- Support DevOps-based environment management (dev, test, UAT, prod) with controlled releases
- Provide weekly status reports to management
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of SharePoint development experience
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online and Office 365
- Experience in designing and developing intranets using SharePoint 365
- Knowledge of SharePoint customization, including sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts
- Power Suite expertise, including Power Automate and Power BI
- Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell
- Understanding of information architecture principles
- Security and compliance knowledge related to SharePoint Online
- Experience in implementing personalized user experiences within the intranet
- Strong user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) knowledge and skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Copilot integrations
- M365 adoption strategy and roadmap development
- Gamification knowledge to engage users, drive adoption, and promote collaboration
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate, or similar certifications
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in computer science, information systems/technology management, or related discipline with degree/certificate or equivalent work experience
The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $160,000.
