Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
- Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in banquet service as required, assisting with catering events and large gatherings.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus.
