Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong communication skills, an understanding of food safety protocols, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to manage order priorities and special requests.
• Assist in food preparation and handling, adhering to all food safety standards.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Buss tables promptly to ensure a clean dining environment for guests.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure high-quality presentation of dishes before serving.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel or culinary setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
• Willingness to assist in various roles within the kitchen as needed, including cooking when required.
