We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager (5–8 years) with a background in construction, project management, or engineering to serve as an Owner’s Representative across multiple retail tenant improvement projects. What You’ll Do
- Oversee day‑to‑day field execution for retail tenant improvement projects, ensuring work aligns with approved plans, specifications, and client standards.
- Develop and manage construction schedules, look‑ahead plans, and constraint logs.
- Lead site kickoff meetings, validate existing conditions, and identify risks, access limitations, and utility impacts.
- Coordinate General Contractors, specialty trades, vendors, and landlord scope to maintain critical path progress.
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, budgets, inspections, and punch‑list completion.
- Manage fixture logistics, including receiving, inventory, staging, and reorders.
- Serve as the primary field contact, providing daily reports, weekly updates, and participating in OAC and program meetings.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5–8 years of retail construction experience, including work as an Owner’s Representative.
- Proven success managing tenant improvements and coordinating multiple trades and vendors.
- Knowledge of California codes, pharmacy construction, inspections, and AHJ coordination.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
