Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, grinders, and deburring machines to meticulously remove burrs and sharp edges from metal or plastic parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise deburring.
- Handle materials safely within a manufacturing facility, including materials handling and packaging tasks on the assembly line.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols; support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Proven factory or manufacturing experience with hands-on machining or fabrication work.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately.
- Experience operating hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards; forklift certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control; ability to work efficiently on an assembly line or fabrication station.
