What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Communications Intern position at TLG Communications?
TLG is hiring ambitious, detail-oriented interns for the spring semester to be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Overview
This is a paid internship open to recent college graduates as well as current college seniors who are interested in building their communications skills in preparation for careers in fields such as public relations, journalism, communications, law, or digital media. You will work closely with members of our team on research, content creation, editing, social media, media relations, and more.
Priority will be given to applicants who can commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) in either our Washington, D.C. or New York, NY office, but part-time applicants (at least 20 hours per week in-person) will also be considered. Applicants must specify in their cover letter whether they are applying for a full-time or part-time internship. Start and end dates are flexible. This position is compensated at an hourly rate of $20 to $25, commensurate with experience and relevant qualifications.

- Proficiency in social media platforms and Microsoft Office
