We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the Warehouse Associate Level 2 role at our food manufacturing facility located at 90 Stemmers Lane, Westampton, NJ 08060. The Warehouse Associate Level 2 is responsible for performing a variety of functions that include: assembling, packing, preparing and bagging various products and food ingredients to meet the needs of our customers. All Batchline Solutions employees are also required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food handling procedures, quality control, and all safety procedures and policies in our distribution centers.
What will you be doing:
- Ability to consistently execute tasks according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) for the production center as trained.
- Ability to perform basic food safety practices in the production center with a high degree of attention to detail and internal customer service.
- Ability to measure, weight and containerize ingredients, produce and proteins for packing and storing.
- Ability to assemble, build and sort a variety of boxes to ensure proper labeling, insulation and meal packages adhere to Batchline Solutions Foods’s standards of quality and safety.
- Ability to label and pack prepared items into curated meal bags and store them in boxes per order requests.
- Ability to demonstrate accurate and safe use of basic warehouse equipment including but not limited to palletizer, tape machine, and pallet jack.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Must perform all duties safely at all times and immediately report any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to a supervisor, manager or Human Resources.
- Must comply with all PPE requirements (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must complete all assigned training on time.
- Must follow workplace safety, food safety, and production quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Who you are and why you're right for us:
- 6 months experience in warehouse setting preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and flexibility required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a variety of shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work independently and or in a group setting, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º - 42º Fahrenheit) for 8 or more hours and in some instances, in a dark environment.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, long hours and weekends as needed
