- Responsible for all painting activities in assigned pod which includes working with Facilities Manager to provide timely and quality painting service.
- Ensure pod has the adequate levels of paint.
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting.
- Fill all cracks and holes that are smaller than a nickel with appropriate material such as plaster and texture
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color.
- Paint surfaces with appropriate tools according to given instructions.
- Communicate with Facilities Manager on a regular basis to ensure completion of the project and satisfaction of the customer.
- Consistently pass proper inspection of completed work.
- Perform record keeping and processing of all required paperwork.
- Train new painters to use Entrata and the required standards of the department.
- Operate a company vehicle in a safe and lawful manner.
- Clean and maintain professional appearance of company vehicle and all equipment.
- Use painting tools and machinery properly to complete assigned work.
- Clean and maintain all painting equipment which may include brushes, rollers, sprayers, pumps, etc.
- Report for Snow removal timely to shovel snow and deice assigned properties.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines given by Facilities Manager.
- Perform other duties in related fields as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
