Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation to facilitate efficient work progress
- Use construction estimating techniques to assess project scope and material needs accurately
- Conduct site inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with team members on framing, trim carpentry, caulking, and other related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in roofing or related construction fields
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures
- Knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and repair methods
- Experience with construction estimating, fabrication, metal stud framing, welding, tile laying
- Familiarity with construction site experience including heavy lifting and working at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project demands
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining safety standards
