Warehouse & Operations Associate

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Warehouse & Operations Associate to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our warehouse, showroom, and inventory are organized, efficient, and ready to serve our customers every day.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying busy, and naturally notices what needs to be done without waiting to be asked. Accuracy, organization, and excellent customer service are essential to success in this role.

Primary ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming flooring materials from suppliers.
• Promptly receive and check in all incoming orders, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepancies.
• Immediately notify the sales team when customer orders have been received and are ready for pickup or delivery.
• Unload and separate large pallet shipments for customer pickups and deliveries.
• Accurately stage, package, and prepare customer orders.
• Verify quantities and inspect products for damage or discrepancies.
• Ensure every customer receives the correct material and quantities.
• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload materials (forklift certification required or willingness to become certified).
• Make local deliveries and supplier pickups using the company truck.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse at all times.
• Keep the warehouse organized and in excellent condition, ensuring products are easy to locate and inventory is well maintained.

Order Preparation & Labeling

• Prepare customer orders accurately and completely for pickup or delivery.
• Label and organize customer orders to ensure products are easy to identify and load.
• For custom and high-end projects, create detailed room-by-room labels and organize materials according to the installation plan.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure installers receive organized, accurate, and easy-to-follow orders.

General Store Duties (GSD)

• Cut flooring and tile samples.
• Drill holes and prepare sample boards.
• Label and organize samples.
• Organize and maintain showroom displays.
• Assist with setting up and taking down product displays.
• Assist with cleaning showroom; i.e. emptying trash, cleaning windows, sweeping, etc
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom.
• Assist wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Inventory & Supply Management

• Monitor inventory levels of grout, caulking, metal edge trim, and other commonly stocked installation products.
• Perform routine inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas.

Customer Service

• Assist customers and contractors with loading materials.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Represent the company professionally during customer interactions and supplier pickups.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Communicate proactively with the sales team regarding order arrivals, shortages, damaged material, and any issues that could affect customer pickup or delivery schedules.

• Strong basic math and computer skills.
• Comfortable operating a forklift or willing to become forklift certified.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to safely lift and carry at least 75 pounds on a regular basis.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
