We are seeking a skilled Sewing Operator to join a manufacturing team in Tupelo, MS. This position involves operating sewing equipment to assemble and finish products while maintaining quality and production standards.
IMPORTANT – SEWING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous sewing experience is REQUIRED for this position. Candidates must have hands-on experience using a sewing machine and be comfortable performing sewing work in a production or manufacturing environment.
Applicants without previous sewing experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines to assemble and finish manufactured products.
- Follow patterns, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain consistent stitching and product quality.
- Perform repetitive sewing and assembly tasks while maintaining production goals.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
- Work efficiently with other members of the production team.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SEWING EXPERIENCE.
- Experience operating a sewing machine in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and production specifications.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Schedule & Compensation
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday – Friday
- 40 hours per week
- $15.00/hour
- Full-Time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
