Manufacturing Associate
Location: Memphis, TN
Department: High Voltage Disconnects/Switches
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Manufacturing Associates to join the High Voltage Disconnects/Switches department in Memphis, TN. This position is responsible for assisting with the assembly and manufacturing of high-voltage electrical components while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble high-voltage disconnect and switch components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely and correctly.
- Read and follow work orders, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Perform repetitive assembly and production tasks throughout the shift.
- Maintain required production rates while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Properly handle and organize materials, parts, and finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report defective materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is preferred.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be dependable and able to maintain regular attendance.
- Must be able to work the full 2nd shift schedule, Monday–Friday from 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
