Bar Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our new bar social at the Hyatt Place Ocean City. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-energy, guest-focused environment and has a passion for hospitality, mixology, and creating memorable experiences. The Bar Manager will oversee daily operations, drive revenue, and ensure exceptional service standards while maintaining a relaxed, fun beach atmosphere. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service 

• Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences 

• Develop creative cocktail menus that reflect a beach-inspired, social vibe 

• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability 

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations 

• Foster a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere that encourages social interaction 

• Collaborate with hotel management on events, promotions, and themed nights 

• Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve service quality 

• Handle scheduling, payroll, and staff performance evaluations

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar leadership role 

• Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and current beverage trends 

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

• Strong financial acumen and cost control experience 

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays 

• Certification in responsible alcohol service (preferred) 

• Energetic and outgoing personality 

• Passion for hospitality and guest engagement 

• Creative mindset with attention to detail
