TK’s Diner is looking for a dependable, hardworking Prep/Line Cook to join our kitchen team! We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food, keeping a clean and organized kitchen, and working together to provide our customers with a great dining experience.
This position includes both food preparation and line cooking duties, so we are looking for someone who is willing to jump in where needed and work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to TK’s Diner recipes and standards.
- Wash, cut, chop, slice, portion, and prepare ingredients for daily service.
- Operate grills, fryers, ovens, stovetops, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Prepare customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow proper cooking temperatures, food-storage, labeling, dating, and rotation procedures.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, handwashing, and cross-contamination prevention procedures.
- Communicate with servers and other kitchen staff to keep orders moving efficiently.
- Keep prep areas, cooking stations, equipment, and kitchen surfaces clean and sanitized.
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, dishes, and other kitchen duties as needed.
- Follow all TK’s Diner food-safety and workplace-safety procedures.

- Slip-resistant shoes are required.
- Previous cooking or restaurant experience is preferred.
