TK Health is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Multi-State Float to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a flexible, experienced clinician who is passionate about delivering care in correctional settings and is willing to travel across multiple states to support our facilities.

Locations Covered: Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Indiana, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Colorado, Montana, Kentucky

Pay: $40/hr.

A master's degree with licensure as a LPC, LCSW, LADC, or LMFT is required.
Minimum of 2 years of correctional mental health experience (REQUIRED)
This position requires regular travel to different facilities based on operational needs. Assignments may vary and can include weekdays, weekends, or short-notice coverage due to staffing changes or call-offs.
This role is best suited for someone who:

- Can travel on a weekly basis
- Is comfortable with changing environments
The role of the LMHC is to assess, evaluate and coordinate mental health care for incarcerated individuals and formulate individualized release plans to coordinate a continuum of care.

Responsibilities
- Assess psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention
- Conduct suicide risk evaluations and prevention interventions
- Coordinate care with facility staff and medical providers
- Provide MAT and substance abuse counseling
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Coordinate medication referrals with providers
- Facilitate discharge planning and continuity of care with community providers
- Conduct mental health assessments and release planning
- Ensure safety and security in all clinical decision-making
- Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours coverage
- Provide mental health training to correctional staff as needed
Position Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or related field
- Current licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LADC
- Minimum of 2 years of correctional mental health experience (REQUIRED)
- Must reside in and be licensed in at least one of our operating states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (company-supported)
- Ability to travel across assigned states as needed
