Role Description
This is a hybrid fee-for-schedule position for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Miami FL. The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will conduct intake assessments and work closely with the internal referral coordinator to ensure proper assignment of clients to the clinical team. This includes completing biopsychosocial assessments, screeners and any other necessary assessments, as well as treatment plans. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. Counselors will also offer case management support as needed to coordinate additional services for clients.
Qualifications
- Skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management to develop and coordinate personalized care plans
- Expertise in Mental Health and Psychology to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of conditions
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field required
- Current state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida is required
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and practices
- Experience in a community mental health or outpatient setting is preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards
