OVERALL POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for supervising and coordinating warehouse employee activities, including the efficient distribution of raw materials to production, auditing the kitting and material requisitions, and analyze and plan manufacturing material requirements.
CORE TASKS:
- Directs all daily activities of the Warehouse Department and Warehouse Employees.
- Manages the efficient disbursement of raw materials to Manufacturing through Kitting.
- Ensures receiving and put away processes are conducted per guidelines.
- Ensures material issuing process is conducted per guidelines.
- Ensures Manufacturing kits, Field Kits, refurbishment kits and modification kits schedule is conducted per Master plan.
- Point of Use and Material Requisitions.
- Audits Kitting Process and Material Requisitions for internal On Time Delivery and Accuracy to Manufacturing.
- Ensures cycle count variation adjustments are conducted per guidelines.
- Supports FPR coordinator and Cycle count specialist as needed.
- Improves Warehouse efficiency by analyzing and planning Manufacturing Material Requirements, Warehouse Work Flow and Warehouse Space Requirements.
- Teamwork – Create teamwork atmosphere through excellent communication and respect for people with peers and manufacturing department.
Expert Know How/Knowledge:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in manufacturing warehouse operation (receiving, put away, issuing, cycle count, etc.)
- SAP experience
- Strong Team Leadership Skills – Leading Teams and delegating tasks.
- Six Sigma/Lean Certification applying lean principles, including Kaizen and 6S a PLUS.
- Effective problem-solving skills along with good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to lead processes and people towards effective and efficient operations.
- Self-motivating individual with a Positive Approach.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent to 8 years Warehouse manufacturing supervisory experience
- Experience in LEAN Manufacturing/continuous improvement, such as KAIZEN, 6S, Green Belt, etc.
