This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery of data and analytics programs across the enterprise—from strategy and planning through solution deployment, service management, and continuous improvement. The Senior Delivery Manager must bring a strong foundation in enterprise data management, program governance, and service delivery in complex manufacturing environments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and drive the delivery strategy for the AI, Data & Analytics portfolio, aligning initiatives with enterprise IT and business objectives.
- Manage concurrent programs across the data and analytics portfolio—scope, schedule, resources, and risk—using structured methodologies (Agile, SAFe, PMI).
- Own the delivery portfolio roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders, prioritizing programs that deliver measurable value across manufacturing, commercial, supply chain, and finance.
- Manage vendor relationships, SOWs, and delivery commitments with system integrators and technology partners.
- Facilitate executive-level program reviews and steering committee meetings; communicate status, risks, and decisions with clarity and confidence.
- Define and manage SLAs, operational KPIs, and service performance metrics for the AIDA platform; drive accountability through regular service reviews and corrective action plans.
- Enforce enterprise data management best practices including data governance, data quality, MDM, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Partner with the Data Governance Office and business data owners to establish and operationalize data standards, policies, and stewardship frameworks.
- Build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, translating strategic priorities into actionable analytics roadmaps.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of program managers and delivery professionals in a matrixed environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred. Or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of progressive IT delivery experience, with at least 5 years focused on data and analytics programs in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in program management and service delivery across BI, data warehousing, and advanced analytics platforms—including end-to-end program execution and delivery governance.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data management: data governance, data quality, MDM, data cataloging, and data lifecycle management.
- Experience managing vendor teams, system integrators, and technology partner relationships.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership
- Drive functional and non-functional requirements analysis for delivery programs; define problem statements and present solution options to leadership.
- Define and comply with standard processes to maintain high availability and stability of the analytics platform and its services.
- Timely resolution of delivery escalations, service performance issues, and program risks.
- Accurate and timely completion of program milestones and portfolio reporting commitments.
- Experience with leading data platforms: Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric.
- PMP, SAFe Agilist, or CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) certification.
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM frameworks applied to data and analytics operations.
- Experience working in or with manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
