ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize key manufacturing and operational metrics.
- Automate data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources to provide insights into production, supply chain, and quality performance.
- Collaborate with different departments (Production, Supply Chain, Quality Control, Finance) to identify reporting needs and optimize data solutions.
- Support decision-making by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity, validating sources and applying best practices in data governance.
- Optimize and maintain the BI environment, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvements in reporting systems.
- Train and support team members in using BI tools and interpreting reports effectively.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School (or equivalent) and/or Technical School diploma required.
- 1 to 4 years of working experience in BI analysis, data analytics, or a similar role;
- Hands-on experience in developing Power BI dashboards and optimizing data reporting.
- General organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in automation, process optimization, and predictive analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and report optimization.
- Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate, Python, or RPA solutions.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with ERP and MES systems used in manufacturing.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, preferred
- Knowledge of machine learning or advanced analytics techniques, preferred
- Certification in Power BI, SQL, or related BI tools, preferred
- Understanding of IoT and Industry 4.0 trends in manufacturing analytics, preferred
