What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Work & Underground Foreman position at TK Concrete Inc.?
An underground pipework foreman is a construction supervisor who manages and oversees crews installing, repairing, or maintaining underground pipe systems, such as those for water, sewer, or storm drainage. They ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications, often coordinating with other trades and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Has previous experience in pipe laying, underground utility installation and operating heavy machinery.
Supervises and leads crew to successfully complete project on time and within budget.
Operates various pieces of equipment.
Has knowledge of blueprints, specifications, Codes and Regulations.
Excellent communication skills and strong organizational, administrative and analytical skills.
Schedule proper maintenance for all equipment with shop management.
Continually inspect work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns.
Perform a variety of tasks and duties that may change often as the work conditions require.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must have a valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
Reports to: Project Manager and President.
