Logistics Coordinator

Titus Transport is an essential partner in the food supply chain, specializing in nationwide, temperature-controlled transportation. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the operational flow for our dedicated fleet based in Loxley, AL.

Schedule: Wednesday 1800-0000; Thursday, Friday, Saturday 1200-0000

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch and Scheduling Management: Oversee the assigned shift, coordinating driver schedules, dispatching loads, and managing the flow of refrigerated and dry van freight to ensure all deliveries meet strict on-time performance metrics.

• Real-Time Fleet Tracking: Proactively monitor and track all deliveries utilizing advanced transportation management systems (TMS) to anticipate potential disruptions and ensure efficient route execution.
• Driver Support and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing clear instructions, solving on-road issues, and promoting high driver satisfaction through positive and effective support.
• Operational Collaboration: Work seamlessly with management, logistics liaisons, and the service department to optimize resource allocation and maintain fluid operations across all departments.
• Performance Analysis: Assist in data-driven decision-making, contributing to the analysis of operational metrics, including staffing levels and efficiency improvements.
• Information Hub: Professionally manage inbound and outbound communications (phone, email) from drivers and customers, accurately documenting all interactions and relaying critical information to the appropriate teams.
• Administrative & Technical Proficiency: Maintain operational reports, utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for daily tasks, and rapidly adopt new logistics technology platforms.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Demonstrated knowledge of transportation logistics, including DOT regulations, routing, and dispatching principles.
• Prior experience in a Dispatcher or Logistics Coordinator role is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to manage high-volume communications professionally.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, capable of making quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a TMS or fleet tracking software.
• Ability to commit to the designated full-time shift, including working nights and/or weekends as required.
