In this role, you’ll be the face of the experience—greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks efficiently, and keeping your tables dialed in from start to finish. We’re looking for someone who moves with urgency, pays attention to the little things, and knows how to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items including specials and wine pairings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling, process payments efficiently through POS systems like OpenTable or cash registers, and provide correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and ensure the dining area remains inviting at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery; assist with food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations.
- Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist management.
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation standards to uphold health codes in food service environments.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in fast-paced or fine dining settings is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in food handling, food preparation, or kitchen operations enhances your ability to serve effectively.
- Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and prioritization are essential for success in this energetic role.
- Knowledge of OpenTable reservation system or similar platforms is advantageous for managing guest seating efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to boost sales while enhancing guest satisfaction.
