Site JMT Continuous Improvement Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator is responsible for driving operational excellence across the site by leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Manufacturing, and IATF 16949 principles. This role partners cross-functionally to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, improve productivity, and enhance overall plant performance in support of business objectives and P&L targets.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, RS System Management).
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support plant-wide initiatives to reduce waste, improve flow, and optimize labor utilization.
• Analyze operational data (scrap, downtime, OEE, labor efficiency) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and visual management tools.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to drive improvements.
• Develop and maintain standardized work and best practices.
• Ensure improvements are sustained through Layered Process Audits (LPA).
• Provide training on Lean/TQM tools and CI methodologies.
• Lead structured problem-solving efforts using 8D, A3, and Root Cause Analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
