Position Summary:
The Manager – Purchase will be responsible for leading procurement activities across commodities such as Plastic Tanks, Stamping, Casting, and AC Lines, fastners managing both local and overseas supplier bases. The role requires strong expertise in purchase processes, negotiations, cost analysis, and supplier management to support TitanX's operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
- Drive supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
- Procurement & Negotiation
- Lead negotiations for cost, contracts, and terms to achieve savings and value creation.
- Implement should-cost analysis and indexation processes for commodities.
- Project Handling
- Manage procurement for new and existing projects, ensuring alignment with timelines.
- Support PPAP and development milestones with suppliers.
- Provide sourcing recommendations aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and onboard second suppliers to mitigate risks.
- Support management requirements for Budget, EBITDA, and VAVE initiatives .
- Track and report procurement impact on financial performance.
- Work closely with logistics, and planning teams to align supply chain needs.
- Present updates and recommendations to leadership teams.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of purchase processes, negotiations, and should-costing .
- Experience in Plastic Tanks, Stamping, Casting, and AC Lines commodities .
- Ability to handle indexation processes and sourcing recommendations .
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with leadership.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of customer requirements, logistics, and planning processes .
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Defines cost breakdown for purchased parts
2. Benchmarking of cost in various geographies
3. Comply with the TitanX procedures
REQUIREMENT PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 8-10 years of professional experience in a high-volume production industry
- Experience as a cost engineer for relevant commodities (Stamping, injection molding, casting)
- Experience on cost software will be added advantage
Skill set
· Established organization, interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent analytical skills with advance MS Excel practical knowledge
· Fluent in English, both written and oral
· Knowledge of Supplier relationship management, Global Supply Chain, Change Management, Manufacturing processes, Business Process Improvement, Project management and contractual terms & conditions
· Experience with international/cross-site organization and lean manufacturing principles

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
