Titan Roofing is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager for the Buffalo, NY area.
We are seeking a driven, organized project manager with at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable team player, capable of critical thinking, and works well with little supervision. This full-time position will primarily work weekdays from 6AM to 4PM; project schedules may require occasional flexibility and weekend work. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Complete quantity take-offs and minor estimates
- Order accurate amounts of material and equipment
- Price and negotiate change orders
- Complete project schedule of values
- Negotiate material and supplier pricing
- Complete project site visuals, as required
- Review project documents with job site foreman and provide assistance to ensure timely and successful project completion
- Complete closeout documents, including as-built drawings
- Develop scopes of work for subcontractors
- Hire and manage subcontractors
- Assist in establishment and enforcement of quality control for roofing installation / subcontractor installation
- Write purchase orders and subcontracts
- Complete roofing shop drawings (hand sketches) and project submittals
- Develop project schedule and maintain timeline
- Create budgets; complete projects within budget constraints
- Pick up material and deliver to job site as necessary to maximize field crew productivity
- Attend project progress meetings and weekly Titan production meeting
- Produce Request for Information (RFIs) and follow up to obtain required info
- Communicate with main and branch offices for labor and finance reporting
- Provide main office with project breakdowns for billing
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in construction project management and/or estimating
- Experience in commercial construction/engineering industry preferred
- College degree in construction materials or related field preferred
- OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 certification required at later date
- Ability to read and understand project blueprints, specifications, and project recap sheets
- Firm command of computer technology, including working knowledge of Excel, Office, and Outlook
- Experience with “The Edge” estimating software, ExakTime, and PROCORE a plus
- Ability to effectively and respectfully work with a variety of populations, including property owners, architects, fellow project managers, field personnel, and warehouse staff
- Strong organizational, leadership, and mediation skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and troubleshoot issues in real-time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Bilingual speaking ability is a plus
