An Optometrist is needed in Marion, OH

Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 annually (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus - $12,000 paid out over 12 months ($1,000 a month)

Responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am-4:30pm), paid lunch break
- Provide comprehensive eye exams to an average of 12–13 patients per day (64 patients per week)
- Diagnose and manage vision conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and glaucoma
- Prescribe eyeglasses and medications as needed
- Educate patients on eye care and vision correction options
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record system (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the facility
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operational
- Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists as needed
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited institution
- Active optometry license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a practicing optometrist
- Strong communication and patient education skills
