Job Description
Cash Analyst-Hospitality
The Cash Analyst is an important accounting position involving responsibility for performing financial record keeping and reconciliation tasks. The work is performed by following company guidelines and adhering to financial standards and protocol established by the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Daily review and recording of all bank account activity
· Initiate funding transfers between operating and payroll accounts to meet financial and operational obligations
· Manage positive pay function across all bank accounts
· Review weekly cash disbursement reports for check and ACH payment
· Other duties as assigned by Corporate Controller
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Three to five years of cash management and general ledger experience including cash management and bank reconciliation processes
· Treasury services experience at a financial institution
· Ability to quickly learn and utilize M3 accounting software
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university or college.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Extensive and proficient knowledge of accounting principles
· Ability to follow verbal and written direction
· Ability to prepare fiscal reports
· Honest, Dependable and Accountable employee
· Efficient in MS Excel, Word & Outlook 365
