Sales Administrator Representative

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Sales Administrator Representative to join our team in Roanoke, VA. This position will be responsible for generating billing for bulk cement products.

Responsibilities

• Develop extensive working relationships with customers, as well as other departments (Sales, Logistics, etc.) to ensure customer needs are addressed. This will include the providing of freight rates, pricing and other documents as needed
• Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of Customers Master files in SAP (ship to, pricing, freight, fuel surcharges)
• Partner with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Credit departments to anticipate issues that may arise
• Work with the accounting group on inventory issues, internal pricing or freight issues and ticket entry resolution
• Provide pricing and various other reports as requested
• Work with Accounts Receivable, Sales Representatives and Customers to resolve disputed payments which would include documenting pricing, tonnages and mathematical calculations
• Work with Freight Payables Clerk to resolve freight discrepancies
• Interact with external and internal customers with invoice resolution
• Assist collection efforts by providing support documents to customers in a timely manner
• Work with multiple groups while establishing new terminal/plant setups

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is strongly preferred
• Ambitious person with exceptional organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in independently or with a team
• Excellent communication skills with professional decorum over the phone and written
• Strong mathematical ability to resolve payment discrepancies
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., PowerPoint a plus)
• Knowledge of SAP is a strong plus
• Experience working in Customer Service is a must
• Logistics and/or Accounts Receivable experience is a definite plus
• Knowledgeable in the Building Materials/Construction industry and strong plus (Cement, Aggregate, Fly Ash, Ready-Mix, and Block)
• Availability to work over-time to meet customer needs is required if needed
