Suspension, Exhaust & Fabrication Technician
Tire Country – Jacksonville, NC
Tire Country is hiring an experienced Suspension, Exhaust & Fabrication Technician to join our team.
We’re looking for a skilled technician who can diagnose and repair suspension systems, install and fabricate exhaust systems, and build custom exhaust systems from start to finish.
Responsibilities
● Diagnose and repair suspension and steering systems
● Install, repair, and fabricate exhaust systems
● Build custom exhaust systems
● MIG weld exhaust components and perform fabrication work
● Replace shocks, struts, ball joints, tie rods, control arms, wheel bearings, and other suspension components
● Perform alignments (preferred but not required)
● Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
● Automotive repair experience required
● Suspension and steering repair experience required
● Exhaust installation and custom fabrication experience required
● Ability to build custom exhaust systems from start to finish
● MIG welding experience required (TIG welding is a plus)
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
● Must have your own tools
● Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
