What We Do
Oasis International Design is a Design-Build firm that designs, fabricates, and installs commercial and high-end residential pools, spas, water features, and wellness environments throughout the United States. From our headquarters (soon to be in Holly Ridge, North Carolina), we combine skilled craftsmanship with innovative construction methods to build projects that stand apart from traditional construction.
Position Summary
The Fabrication & Installation Technician fabricates, assembles, transports, and installs Oasis aquatic construction systems at our production facility and project sites. This is a hands-on position for dependable professionals who enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and producing quality work. Success in this role requires accountability, attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
Work Schedule
- Typical workweek is 40 hours.
- Full-time position.
- Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble Oasis patent-pending systems and related components.
- Transport and install Oasis structural foam systems at commercial and residential project sites.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, equipment, and materials safely while performing fabrication, installation, loading, unloading, and material handling tasks.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and measurements.
- Use company software and mobile applications to document work, complete daily reports, and communicate project updates.
- Inspect, use, and maintain company tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following Oasis quality and safety standards.
- Report safety concerns, quality issues, equipment problems, or material shortages to direct leadership.
- Represent Oasis professionally while working with teammates, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Construction experience.
- Experience using common hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow construction drawings, layouts, and work instructions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications to complete daily reports, documentation, and communication through company software.
- Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cementitious waterproofing, pool plaster, stucco, EIFS, concrete finishing, or similar finish systems.
- Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, trailers, or other construction equipment.
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00β$24.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated technical competency.
- Overtime opportunities based on workload and project needs.
