What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valley Early Learning Academy Program Instructional Assistant position at Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation?
Hours: 5 hours 45 min per day- Monday-Friday (shifts: 6:30am - 12:30pm or 11:00 am - 5:00pm)
Salary or Rate of Pay: $13.80
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children ages 6 weeks – 3 years old
Responsibilities:
- Help establish and enforce best practices for the academy.
- Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean, safe, and organized.
- Assists with the implementation of education during all classroom activities.
- Assists with the planning and execution of nutritious meals for students.
- Assist with the preparation of instructional materials
- Assists lead teacher with recording student progress data
- Follows all state and local regulations (ratios, standards, etc..)
- Maintain and follow appropriate professional behaviors and attire per handbook
- Other duties as assigned by Valley Early Learning Director, Coordinator or Lead Teacher
