AI/ML Engineer (Image Generation)
We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to develop cutting-edge AI solutions for our advanced sensor technology. In this role, you will tackle complex machine learning challenges, contribute to groundbreaking research, and help redefine the future of medical diagnostics.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement machine learning models for sensor data analysis
- Apply deep learning techniques to time series and imaging data from biomedical sensors
- Optimize models for deployment on embedded systems and edge devices
- Work with hardware and clinical teams to refine algorithms based on real-world performance
- Contribute to our technical approach as we move toward clinical validation
Required Qualifications:
- M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or 5 years of industry experience in machine learning
- Experience with generative models (diffusion models, VAEs, or encoder-decoder architectures) applied to 2D/3D data
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- Strong foundation in algorithm optimization and data structures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Signal or image processing background, particularly with radar, microwave, or compressed sensing techniques
- Experience with multimodal models or cross-modal generation
- Prior work optimizing models for GPU or edge deployment
- Familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements for medical device software
- Experience in medical device or healthcare technology companies
Compensation Structure
This role begins with a 3-6 month contract phase at $4,000-$7,000/month to establish mutual fit. Upon conversion to full-time employment, salary range is $100,000-$120,000 plus equity, based on experience. Full-time benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and performance bonuses.
