Tipi Cafe is looking for experienced baristas with a deep understanding of coffee preparation as well as other cafe beverages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting delicious and innovative beverages, ensuring an unforgettable experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with consistency and precision.
- Develop and experiment with new recipes for seasonal menus and events
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Educate customers on the benefits and effects of infused beverages, ensuring a responsible and informed consumption experience.
- Handling Cash and Card Transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service, building relationships with regulars and newcomers alike.
- Manage inventory of daily supplies.
- Stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume café or similar setting.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new and exciting beverages.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
