What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rockmart Maintenance / Waste Water position at Tip Top Poultry Inc?
3rd Shift
Waste Water
Must have flexible schedule to learn all 3 shifts.
Hours: 10:30 PM to Finish
Pay: Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations
- Oversee operation of waste water treatment plant
- Provides routine testing, monitoring, and maintenance of WWTP equipment.
- Performs treatment process and maintenance of treatment facility equipment to assure proper operations
- Conducts routine sampling and field testing of water and/or wastewater
- Compiles data for chemical use and keeps records on equipment and plant operations
- Assists in other departmental areas as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition; ability to lift 75 lbs.; ability to operate all necessary hand tools; ability to kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, etc. to reach items in need of repair; ability to drive forklift, yard dog, and truck; tolerance to all extreme weather conditions, such as very hot or very cold temperatures

- In-depth knowledge of facility operations, people, products, and equipment
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements and guidelines necessary to operating a raw processing facility

- Computer skills: blueprints, drawings, layouts, spreadsheets, and powerful, yet simple, presentations
