Poker Room Supervisor

What You’ll Do
- Verify gaming table transactions and monitor gameplay integrity in assigned areas
- Inspect cards, chips, and gaming equipment prior to play to ensure compliance and quality standards
- Monitor all poker games for suspicious or irregular activity and respond appropriately when necessary
- Track and monitor player rating activity, including average bets and length of play, ensuring accurate player data entry into the Casino Management System
- Open and close games while verifying table counts provided by Dealers
- Support Dealers through coaching, guidance, and operational assistance during live gameplay
- Interview, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate Poker Room Dealers
- Plan, assign, and direct work while maintaining a positive and productive team environment
- Address associate concerns, resolve operational issues, and support a culture of accountability and teamwork
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of experience dealing in a high-volume Class III casino environment required
- Strong knowledge of NYS Gaming Commission regulations and casino operational procedures
- Knowledge of basic strategy and rules for all supervised games
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and coach team members effectively while maintaining gaming integrity
- Strong business acumen and computer proficiency
- Ability to accurately monitor and enter player information into the Casino Management System
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and guest-focused in a fast-paced casino environment
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervise Poker Room Dealers on a daily basis
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, discipline, and conflict resolution
Schedule Requirements
- Casino operations run 7 days a week between 9 AM and 3 AM
- Night, weekend, and holiday availability is required
