IT Specialist

We’re looking for an IT Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and enjoys working with a wide range of technologies—from business systems to AV equipment. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.
What You’ll Do
- Keep critical business systems running smoothly, including POS, casino, and hotel management platforms
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of technology and AV equipment (teleconferencing tools, projectors, monitors, and more)
- Provide responsive technical support via phone, email, and in person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues for a diverse group of end users
- Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMACs) across the organization
- Track, document, and maintain hardware and AV inventory
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep systems operating at peak performance
- Recommend and implement upgrades to improve system efficiency
- Ensure issues are fully resolved with thorough follow-up and testing
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
- 3–5 years of IT experience (experience in casino, hospitality, banking, or entertainment environments is a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset
- Solid communication skills—you can explain technical issues in a clear, user-friendly way
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent preferred
- Working knowledge of systems such as IBM AS400/System i5 is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role. You’ll regularly move equipment (up to 25 lbs, occasionally more) and work in both office and high-energy floor environments where noise levels may vary.
