Job Description: Corporate Field Services Technician
Location: Onsite – Painted Post, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
About the Role
We’re looking for a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues. You’ll assist end users, troubleshoot Windows 11 systems, support tickets, and help maintain daily IT operations. This role requires strong communication, hands-on hardware experience, and the ability to work independently.
What You’ll Do
• Provide in-person and remote technical support
• Administer Active Directory (password resets, account support)
• Troubleshoot VPN and Citrix connectivity issues
• Support mobile devices and standard business applications
• Perform device imaging and hardware deployment
• Manage IT assets and maintain accurate records
• Install/troubleshoot printers, drivers, and software
• Use ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
What You Need
• 1 year of hands-on hardware experience (beyond basic imaging)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting Windows 11
• Basic Command Prompt & PowerShell knowledge
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Education
• Associate’s degree preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Certifications (Not required)
• CompTIA A
• CompTIA IT Fundamentals
• Other CompTIA certifications are a plus
Salary : $21 - $22
