At Tioga Downs, we’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Engineer to help maintain and enhance our property. In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping our grounds safe, clean, and visually appealing for guests and team members alike.

💼 What You’ll Do:
- Operate company vehicles as needed
- Perform routine groundskeeping, including mowing and trimming around walkways, flower beds, and buildings
- Maintain landscaping by planting, watering, fertilizing, mulching, raking, and pruning
- Keep sidewalks clean and clear of debris; shovel snow and apply ice melt during winter
- Assist with setup and teardown of special events
- Maintain cleanliness and security of maintenance buildings and surrounding areas
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs in barn areas as directed
🎓 What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction
💪 Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Stay active in a physically demanding, outdoor role. This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds frequently). You’ll work in varying weather conditions, around equipment, and in environments that may include noise, strong odors, and horse-related cleanup.
