Tiny Treasures Early Learning Center is looking for a warm, friendly, and dependable individual to join our team as a Morning Greeter & Childcare Support Assistant!

We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with children and families and can help create a welcoming, positive start to each day at our center.

This position is perfect for someone looking for a rewarding part-time morning role, including retirees or individuals who enjoy staying active and involved in their community.

The primary responsibility of this position is to welcome families as they arrive each morning, assist with the daily check-in process, and serve as a friendly, approachable presence at the entrance of our center. In addition, this individual will provide classroom support as needed and assist with light daily responsibilities throughout the building.

Responsibilities

Morning Greeting & Family Support

• Warmly welcome children and families each morning with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Assist parents and guardians with the daily check-in process.
• Be available to answer general questions and direct families to the appropriate staff member when needed.
• Help children and families feel comfortable and supported during morning drop-off.
• Maintain a professional, approachable, and welcoming presence.

Classroom & Center Support

• Provide assistance in classrooms as needed, working with children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 5 years old.
• Support teachers with daily routines, classroom activities, and supervision as directed.
• Be comfortable interacting with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Assist with light laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing classroom linens.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the center.
• Provide additional support to the administrative and teaching teams as needed.
• Assist parents and guardians with the daily check-in process.
• Be available to answer general questions and direct families to the appropriate staff member when needed.
• Help children and families feel comfortable and supported during morning drop-off.
• Maintain a professional, approachable, and welcoming presence.

Qualifications

• A warm, outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with a consistent morning schedule.
• A genuine love for young children and an appreciation for early childhood education.
• Comfortable communicating with parents, caregivers, and staff.
• Physically able to assist with the daily needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, including standing, bending, sitting on the floor, and lifting children as required.
• Willingness to assist wherever needed and work collaboratively with our team.
• Previous childcare or early childhood experience, highly preferred.
• Ability to meet all applicable childcare employment and background clearance requirements.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
